World Symposium on Transport and Land Use Research 2014

A very interesting symposium focusing on various aspects of land use - transport interaction (including engineering, planning, modeling, behavior, economics, geography, regional science, sociology, psychology, health, architecture and design, network science, and complex systems) is to be held in Delft, NL, June 24-27, 2014, organized by the World Society for Transport and Land Use Research (WSTLUR). The conference is expected to provide a unique international forum for academics and practitioners and to develop a better understanding of the interaction between the dynamics of land use and transport, with an emphasis on the way in which the built environment can contribute to more sustainable transport in a rapidly changing world. All papers will be peer-reviewed, while the conference program will also include plenary presentations from:

Glenn Lyons
Professor of Transport and Society, University of the West of England, and founding Director of the Centre for Transport and Society

Patricia Mokhtarian
